Pick the boxes and describe the room. Get splay angles, a hang drawing, delay times, weights and power for planning and quoting. Built from published manufacturer specs. CONFIRM THE FINAL DESIGN IN THE MANUFACTURER'S SOFTWARE.
Built for quoting and gear pulls: a rough spec to price and pull from, not a final design. It's in active development, and angles and specs get updated as we test them. Send feedback
Each box gets a slice of the audience. The top box aims at the back row, the bottom box at the front row, and the boxes in between share the room so the far seats get more boxes (that's what Throw controls). The tool walks down the hang box by box, works out the angle each one needs to hit its target from where it actually sits, then snaps it to the nearest angle that box's rigging allows. You can override any angle.
Levels come from each box's published max SPL, distance (inverse square) and how far off-axis each seat is. They're estimates for comparing designs and spotting dead zones, not predictions. Manufacturers measure max SPL differently, so compare brands with care. Final angles, levels and rigging loads come from the manufacturer's software: L-Acoustics Soundvision, d&b ArrayCalc, Meyer MAPP 3D, RCF Shape Designer.
